What is a Pool Safety Cover?

A safety cover is a trampoline-style pool cover that is stretched over the pool and then secured to the deck by way of straps, springs and anchors.  Deck anchors are specific to the deck type and can accommodate surfaces such as concrete, interlock, stone and wood.
Safety covers have a 4000 lb break strength ratio so they are easily able to withstand weights far in excess of humans or animals.

There are 3 main benefits to owning a safety cover:

The 2009 Ontario Drowning Report, released by the Lifesaving Society of Canada lists drowning as the 2nd leading cause of preventable death for children under 10 years of age.
A pool safety cover can provide an added layer of protection against accidental intrusion and offers peace of mind while on vacation or when the pool is not in use for extended periods of time.

2. Improved Aesthetics

A safety cover improves the appearance of any backyard pool.  It is custom made to fit your pool shape and size and is available in many colour choices to suit the backyard theme.  In the winter months, you’ll avoid the use of bulky oversized covers that are held in place by water bags.

3. Added Functionality

Mesh covers are lightweight and easier to maneuver and require little maintenance since debris that lands on typically blows off the top.  Snow and rain drain through the mesh panels allowing you to avoid the swampy conditions that come with other cover styles.
